History of Wright & Co (Solicitors)
Wright & Co. (Barristers-At-Law, Solicitors of the High Court of Sierra Leone & Legal Consultants) was established in January 1993 by the current Head of the Chamber and Managing Partner, Rowland S.V. Wright Esq., and currently operates as a limited liability partnership. The Firm offers a full range of legal services for its diverse clientele from its offices at Top Floor, No. 8 Pademba Road, Freetown in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
Its broad client base ranges from local corporate businesses and financial institutions to foreign institutions, government agencies and international corporate entities. The Firm offers a broad range of skills and experience predominantly in Corporate/Commercial matters, Financial law and Regulations, Mining law, Trade Disputes, Commercial Properties (acquisition and disposition), Mergers and Acquisitions, Arbitration, Project Finance, Liquidations, Construction Contracts, International Trade Agreements, employment law and Alternate Dispute Resolution. The firm also has an active litigation practice. The firm has been recognized both nationally and internationally as one of the largest and most prominent law firms in Sierra Leone.
Over the years, Wright & Co. has provided Company Secretarial Services to corporate bodies, institutions and organizations and also serves as retained Solicitors of Banks, Insurance Companies, Airlines, Commercial Houses, Non-Governmental Organizations, Embassies and High Commissions (including the British High Commission, with our Head of Chambers serving as Honorary Legal Adviser to successive British High Commissioners in Sierra Leone for the past 20 years.

Functions
To serve as a coordinating office for the socio-pastoral mission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Freetown, networking, supporting, sharing resources, and streamlining the activities of all major actors involved in the Church’s Mission in the Archdiocese particularly parish groups, other diocesan organization, religious congregations, and other bodies active in the Archdiocese.To operate as not-for profit faith-based non-governmental organization in “building capacities and enhancing livelihoods “of the extremely poor (irrespective of religion, race, nationality, gender, and ethnicity) particularly children, youth, women, and the victims of disasters. To assist and support capacity development of Archdiocesan pastoral structures/institutions, in the fields of strategic planning/management, on-going training/formation of pastoral agents, finance and investment management; and to assist in fund-raising for the pastoral, spiritual, and evangelization programs of the Archdiocese, the various parishes, and other church institutions operating in the Archdiocese.
